BoCo (the “Company”) owns www.boco.ie (the “Site”) which uses cookies. By using the Site and agreeing to this policy (the “User”), the User consents to the Company’s use of cookies on the Site in accordance with the terms of this policy. Cookies are files sent by web servers to web browsers, and stored by the web browsers (“Cookies”). The information is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. This enables a web server to identify and track web browsers. There are two main kinds of Cookies are session cookies and persistent cookies. Gift Vouchers – Terms and Conditions of Sale
Validity
Vouchers have no expiry date. They will state 1 year but we will always accept. BoCo vouchers can be redeemed against purchases at BoCo only.
Delivery of Gift Vouchers
Vouchers can be purchased in-house or via the online section on our website via email.
Making a Booking with A Gift Voucher
Gift voucher bookings must be made in advance via telephone and are subject to availability. Bookings can be made with Reservations on 01-8730128, by email or directly with the restaurant.
Refunds and Cancellations Voucher are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged, either fully or in part for cash of any amount. If a voucher is used in the restaurant and there is a balance owed this can be returned in vouchers.
Lost or Stolen Vouchers
Vouchers are the responsibility of the customer and any vouchers either lost or stolen cannot be replaced. If you however have kept track of your reference number we may be able to replace your voucher. Only if your reference number is available.
Privacy Policy
The following privacy statement applies to any customer data collected and/or held by BoCo.
At BoCo, the privacy and protection of personal data is treated with the utmost seriousness. Our privacy statement sets out the data protection practices currently in place within the company. We fully endorse and adhere to the principles of the Data Protection Acts 1998 and 2003 and also the GDPR regulations of 2018. Specifically, we state that we will: Obtain and process information fairly. Keep it only for one or more specified, explicit and lawful purpose. Use and disclose it only in ways compatible with these purposes. Keep it safe and secure. Keep it accurate, complete and up to date. Ensure that it is adequate, relevant and not excessive. Retain it for no longer than is necessary for the purpose or purposes intended. Give a copy of his/her personal data to that individual, on written request. If at any time you believe that this web site has not adhered to these principles, please notify BoCo by e-mail at info@boco.ie and we will use all commercially reasonable efforts to promptly determine and correct the problem.
Your Data & GDPR
BoCol will collect data on our customers for different purposes which are detailed below. Your data can be reviewed by yourself at any time by submitting an access request to info@boco.ie. You also have the right to delete your information from our database at any time by again emailing your details to info@boco.ie
This data will be used for sending marketing materials and reviewing analytical data relating to reservations and website usage of BoCo.
Data Access Requests
BoCo provides for data access requests from our customers. This information will be returned to the customer within one month of request.
BoCo also provides a free opt-out service for all data subjects. It is a clearly identifiable opt-out mechanism for each individual marketing platform and is available to all our customers free of charge. Full extraction from all platforms should be emailed to info@boco.ie detailing full deletion request.
Storing and transferring your Personal Data
In operating our website and marketing efforts it may become necessary to transfer data that we collect from you to locations outside of the European Union for processing and storing. By providing your personal data to us, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We do our upmost to ensure that all reasonable steps are taken to make sure that your data is treated stored securely.
Unfortunately the sending of information via the internet is not totally secure and on occasion such information can be intercepted. We cannot guarantee the security of data that you choose to send us electronically, sending such information is entirely at your own risk.
Reservations
BoCo will collect some information on you just so we can manage your dinner reservation or event. This information may also be used for marketing but this only be upon your consent.
Your Name, Phone, Email address and payment information may be taken when making a reservation and this information is stored by our Reservation software, namely ResDiary and only used for purposes relating to your reservation and not accessed for any other reason or passed onto 3rd parties.

When your credit or debit card account information is being transmitted to our Reservations software, namely ResDiary , or through the site, it will be protected by cryptographic protocols, such as Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.2). To be clear, ResDiary does not itself store your credit or debit card account information, and they do not have direct control over or responsibility for your credit or debit card account information. It uses third party payment processors that are the controllers of your credit card information. The contracts with third parties that receive your credit or debit card account information require them to keep it secure and confidential.
When you consent for your details to be used for marketing purposes, we will export your contact details into our marketing database. The details we will export are Name, Email & Phone number and date/time of your reservation. More details of how this data is then used will be detailed below under ‘Marketing Database’
Delivery Policy
We deliver locally within a defined radius which can be checked on our website by adding your address. The charge for delivery is €3. Our drivers may need to call you if they have difficulty finding your address. Our drivers always wear face masks and gloves.
Wi-Fi
BoCo provides Wi-Fi to our customers, we provide an access password in-house, customers who use this service do so at their own risk. Although we have never had any security issues with our network in the past this doesn’t mean that there are no associated security risks.
Website subscription
Our website allows people to enter their email address to join our ‘marketing database’. This information is used for below mentioned purposes in ‘marketing database’.
3rd party competitions
We host competitions with 3rd parties which will prompt people for opting-in to receive promotional material from us. This data is collected under the terms of each separate 3rd party business and where opt-in is confirmed, we will be transferring the data to add to our ‘marketing database’
Our Marketing Database
We collect different information from customers from different mechanics all detailed above. How we use this information is portrayed upon collection and again below.
By removing yourself from one of our marketing platforms, this will not delete you from all of our marketing mechanics. To delete yourself from all platforms, please email your details to info@boco.ie detailing that you want to be deleted fully.
Data added to our marketing database is stored by different companies for different purposes. The purposes for each transfer (see above ‘sorting and transferring your data’) as detailed above are as follows:
Campaign Monitor:
This Company is used to send you periodic emails with special offers, promotions and menu updates when the associated consent is given. We store and use (where supplied) your name, email, phone, date of birth) with MailChimp. We also store analytical information about your usage of our newsletter service. Google:
We use Google services for display advertising and remarketing adverts. Google services adhere to our cookie policy as above and our remarketing cookies are only stored for 3 days. Email addresses are periodically uploaded to the Google service so that we can display adverts to you associated with BoCo. This data is only held on Google for the time needed for a specific campaign and not given to Google to use for their own campaigns.

How long do we hold your data?
We will hold your data for 18 months or until the need to use it for initial purposes diminish. If you do not interact with our marketing efforts within 18 months, you will be fully deleted from our marketing database. However, your data may still be used for contacting you in relation to your reservation or functions with the restaurants.
